We are the only mobile ultrasound and pregnancy resource center in the D.C. area. We hope to service approximately 15 colleges and universities in the Northern Virginia and D.C. areas by offering free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasound, and eventually , sexually transmitted disease testing within a 50-mile radius. If only 10% of women are walking into traditional crisis pregnancy centers, we need to go where they are.
Ultrasound gives a woman an opportunity to bond with her baby early on, and 8 out of 10 abortion-minded women choose life after seeing their baby on ultrasound. Women attending college are the most vulnerable to the deceptive lure of abortion, so we realize that a pro-life presence on college campuses is vital. Sharing the truth will allow us to witness many lives saved.
We partner with other pregnancy resource centers that do not have ultrasound and provide ultrasound to them, and in return, refer women to pregnancy resource centers for adoption, material help, and shepherding home referrals.
Counselors on board the mobile pregnancy resource center will provide women information on prolife resources available to help them find alternatives to abortion. We have ultrasound imaging to show live 2-dimensional images of the unborn child, a highly effective way to demonstrate the essential humanity of the fetus and help persuade a woman to choose life for her baby.
Statement of Faith: We are a Christ-centered ministry whose mission is to promote the culture of life within our society in order to serve people facing unplanned pregnancies and related sexual issues. We teach abstinence and chastity and discourage the use of artificial contraception, and encourage Natural Family Planning for those whom are married.
Our vision is a culture where lives are transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and every woman chooses life for herself and her unborn child.
We reveal the truth via ultrasound at the time when a woman is in the decision-making process. It is essential that women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, to have the free opportunity to verify pregnancy by seeing an ultrasound of their unborn child in order to make an informed life-affirming decision.
